Goodnight Babe, Words really can't express how lucky I feel, To have found a true friend in Eleanor Neil, Our friendship wasn't long - just over 2 years, But it was instant, eternal and totally sincere, Very few people are as blessed as I've been, If friends were royalty, Elle was the the Queen, I'm forever grateful for all that she gave, Her spirit for life won't end with her grave. How happy am I for those 2 short years, And the laughter, the fun and one or 2 tears, We'd fix the world in our morning break, And sometimes ran over - a genuine mistake!! She called me her pal... I'm not alone there, She gave so much love and was happy to share, But when it came to her family nothing compared, Devoted wife, mum and granny... she so cared.
